The University may revise these Payment Terms from time to time. Each revision will be marked with a revision date and will be posted on the Globus web site. We recommend that you review this page from time to time to note any changes. By continuing to access or use the Paid Services, you agree to be bound by any Payment Terms in effect at the time of such access or use. If you do not agree to the modified terms then you must cease using the Paid Service.
The University accepts credit cards as the payment method (“Payment Method”) for your fees to use the Paid Services (“Fees”). We will charge your selected Payment Method monthly or yearly, depending upon the subscription term you select for your Paid Services. The Fees are published on the globus.org web site (the “Site”) and/or in then-current published price list. The price stated for the Paid Services excludes all applicable taxes and fees, unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes and for all other charges (for example, data charges and currency exchange settlements). You will pay the Fees in the currency quoted to you by the University. We reserve the right to change the quoted currency at any time.
In addition to any Fees, you may still incur charges incidental to using the Paid Services, for example, charges for data storage, Internet access, data roaming, and other data transmission charges.
The University may change the Fees in effect, or add new Fees from time to time. We will notify you of any change in Fees at least ten (10) days in advance, to the email address you have most recently provided to us in your Globus account on the Site. If you do not agree to these changes, you must cancel your Paid Services through the Site prior to the conclusion of your current monthly or yearly payment term. If you cancel, your Paid Services end at the end of your current payment term. If you fail to cancel as required, we will automatically renew the Paid Services for the same term and will charge for the new Fees starting at the beginning of the next term.
Your Paid Services will continue in effect unless and until you cancel your Paid Services or we terminate them. You must cancel your Paid Services through the Site before they renew each month or year in order to avoid billing of the next month's or year's Fees to your Payment Method.
The Paid Services are prepaid and non-refundable. The University does not provide refunds or credits for any partial months or years.
You must be authorized to use the Payment Method that you provide through the Site. You authorize us to charge your Payment Method for your initial purchase, as well as any future purchases and automatic renewals of your Paid Services. It is your responsibility to keep your Payment Method information and email address current and updated on the Site. You may change your Payment Method at any time.
If the University is unable to process your transaction using the Payment Method information provided, we reserve the right to disable access to your Paid Services. If you do not bring your Paid Services balance current within five (5) days after University provides you with notification that your account is in arrears, University reserves the right to use our discretion to cancel and delete your Paid Services.
The Fees will be billed to your Payment Method from the date you elect your first Paid Service and on each monthly or yearly renewal thereafter unless and until you cancel your account. You can see the commencement date for your next renewal period on the Site. University will automatically bill your Payment Method each month or year on the calendar day corresponding to the commencement of your Paid Service. In the event your Paid Service began on a day not contained in a given month or year, University will bill your credit card on the last day of such month or year. For example, if your Paid Service began on January 31st, February 28th is the next time your credit card would be billed.
Should you elect to add Paid Services, your Payment Method will be immediately changed the Fees for the additional Paid Services, pro-rated for the remainder of your current payment term. The full Fees will be charged beginning in the next payment term.
Should you elect to change between monthly and yearly subscription payment term, this change will take affect at the end of your current payment term.
You acknowledge that the amount billed each month or year may vary for reasons that include, differing amounts due to promotional offers, differing amounts due to changes in your Paid Services, or changes in the amount of applicable sales tax, and you authorize us to charge your credit card for such varying amounts. University may also periodically authorize your credit card in anticipation of account or related charges. All fees and charges are nonrefundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods.
